Pride in the Tiger Foundation is excited to announce a $20,000 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation that will help bring new, hands-on career exploration opportunities to Marshall students through the development of a Practical Assessment Exploration System (PAES) Lab at the Marshall Public Schools Alternative Learning Center (ALC). Awarded through the U.S. Bank Foundation’s Community Possible program, the grant will help students explore careers, develop workplace skills, and build confidence as they prepare for life after high school.

At Pride in the Tiger Foundation, we believe the best ideas for student learning begin in the classroom. That’s why we’re proud to share that during the 2025-26 school year, we awarded $104,233 in Teacher Impact Grants to educators across Marshall’s public and private schools.

The Marshall High School gym was filled with pride, gratitude, and excitement on May 13 as Pride in the Tiger Foundation honored the Class of 2026 during its annual Scholarship Ceremony. This year’s event marked a historic milestone for the Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of donors, alumni, businesses, educators, and community members, Pride in the Tiger awarded its $3 millionth scholarship dollar since its founding in 1999.

Pride in the Tiger Foundation continued its commitment to enhancing classroom experiences by awarding more than $98,000 in Teacher Impact Grants to educators across Marshall’s public and private schools this year.

The annual Teacher and Staff Retirement Lunch for 2025 was more than just a gathering of retired educators, it was a celebration filled with joy, surprises, and incredible generosity. Held on a beautiful day at Marshall Golf Club, the event took on a whimsical twist with a full circus theme, complete with popcorn, laughter, and shared memories.
