The annual Teacher and Staff Retirement Lunch for 2025 was more than just a gathering of retired educators, it was a celebration filled with joy, surprises, and incredible generosity. Held on a beautiful day at Marshall Golf Club, the event took on a whimsical twist with a full circus theme, complete with popcorn, laughter, and shared memories.
Teachers, staff, and attendees came together not only to honor retirees but also to give back to Pride in the Tiger Foundation. Donations from this year’s event totaled $3,688, and when combined with contributions from previous years, including an additional $3,000 from the foundation’s early efforts starting in 2022, the total raised reached an impressive $13,473.
These funds will go toward supporting teachers and students in Marshall’s public and private schools through the Teacher Impact Grant program which helps to enrich educational experiences and provide valuable resources where they’re needed most.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this event possible, from the committee members and volunteers to the generous donors and spirited attendees. Your support continues to make a meaningful difference in our schools and community.
